I am writing about it now, as I am just afraid to loose those emotions which I got from the class just about half an hour ago... (and I have like about 25 min before the next event....)
We just had a master class ran by John Peters. He was doing an amazing job speaking on Leadership, high performance, etc, But what really stroke me is his story: John Peters is a pilot who was captured and tortured by the Iraqis during the first Gulf War. You could see the sparkles of water in his eyes when he spoke about it. It's not everyday that you are talking to a person who survived bombs blowing all over him, guns pointed in his face, hair being set on fire....
I can't help my emotions when I look at the first picture from the 90s:
Good part is you can hardly recognize a prisoner of war looking at this happy and positive person today. He really energized me today:) You restore your own belief in life when looking at people like him.
(2008)
ps. Don't tell anyone: I was about to cry listening to his story
